Live in Peace

 
Let me live in peace
Now I’ve found my niche

Peace of mind
Why was it so hard to find?

Let me live my life
Without the strife

Nerves being fraught
Taught me nought

I’m no longer so sad
Nor angry or mad

Tensions now calm
Smoothed with emotional balm

Life’s lessons often so cruel
Taking me for a fool

I’ve lived and learnt
Respect is there to be earned
