Love is but a fragile thought
Plagued by doubt and sometimes fraught
For those who cheat and lie
How sad to know that when they die
How much they missed when love flew by

Love is strength of heart
Meant for those who didn’t part
To be together in heart and mind
To show the other you’re two of a kind
The love you have so precious a find

Love is a gift that needs no measure
Not bound by ties and giving pleasure
Lovers to savour without displeasure
Fragile love for you to treasure
